APEX Procurement Counselor

Networks Northwest is seeking a motivated and resourceful APEX Accelerator Procurement Counselor to join its regional team in Northwest Michigan. This full-time position provides direct counseling, training, and support to businesses seeking to identify, compete for, and successfully perform local, state, and federal government contracts. The Procurement Counselor will conduct government-focused market research, assist businesses with contracting opportunities, registrations and certifications, compliance requirements, and marketing strategies, while also helping plan and deliver training programs in partnership with government agencies, prime contractors, and regional organizations. The role offers the opportunity to work independently while collaborating with an experienced business development team and includes occasional travel throughout Michigan and beyond. Candidates should have strong communication, research, and organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, and preferably an associate degree or equivalent experience and a background in business; government contracting experience is helpful but not required. A valid Michigan driver’s license and insurable driving record are required. The position offers a starting salary of $54,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability insurance; an employer-paid deferred compensation retirement plan; generous paid time off; and paid holidays.

PATH Career Advisor- Manistee

Northwest Michigan Works!, a program of Networks Northwest, is seeking a full-time PATH Career Advisor to provide guidance, instruction, and support to individuals participating in the Partnership. Accountability. Training. Hope. (PATH) program in collaboration with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). The PATH Career Advisor helps individuals assess their skills and experience, develop career goals, overcome employment barriers, strengthen job search skills, and connect with workforce and community resources to support successful employment and long-term self-sufficiency. This position also assists with individualized service planning, career development and employability workshops, job fairs and hiring events, customer participation monitoring, and coordinated case management with MDHHS staff. Candidates should have strong communication, customer service, case management, collaboration, and career development skills, with experience in human services, education, workforce development, or a related field preferred. Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) Specialist- Traverse City

Northwest Michigan Works!, a program of Networks Northwest, is seeking a full-time Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) Specialist to support job seekers participating in the RESEA program by providing early, proactive assistance to help unemployed individuals return to work as quickly as possible. The RESEA Specialist guides participants through career assessments, career planning, job search strategies, and connections to workforce and community resources that support successful employment outcomes. This position also assists individuals who are required to meet the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Medicaid work requirement by providing employment-related guidance and support. Candidates should have strong communication, customer service, case management, and career coaching skills, with experience in workforce development, human services, education, or a related field preferred.
