Northwest Michigan Works!, a program of Networks Northwest, is seeking a full-time Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) Specialist to support job seekers participating in the RESEA program by providing early, proactive assistance to help unemployed individuals return to work as quickly as possible. The RESEA Specialist guides participants through career assessments, career planning, job search strategies, and connections to workforce and community resources that support successful employment outcomes. This position also assists individuals who are required to meet the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Medicaid work requirement by providing employment-related guidance and support. Candidates should have strong communication, customer service, case management, and career coaching skills, with experience in workforce development, human services, education, or a related field preferred. Youth Career Advisor- Charlevoix/Emmet

Northwest Michigan Works! is seeking a dynamic and compassionate individual to serve as a full-time Youth Career Advisor supporting Charlevoix and Emmet counties. In this role, you will help young adults develop achievable career goals while providing the guidance, encouragement, and resources needed to help them succeed in education and employment. The Youth Career Advisor works closely with participants through individualized coaching, mentoring, case management, and work-based learning experiences in both one-on-one and group settings. Responsibilities include conducting outreach and recruitment, facilitating workshops and classroom activities, connecting youth with community resources, supporting career and training pathways, maintaining accurate documentation and data tracking, and building strong partnerships with schools, employers, and community organizations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth in educational or human services settings, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to present effectively to individuals and groups. Candidates should also be proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, social media, and database management systems, possess a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel throughout the region for program events and student activities.
