The Business Services Team provides assistance developing and posting job openings on Pure Michigan Talent Connect; employee recruitment, screening, and referral; workforce training and skills upgrading; and more.

APEX Accelerator
The Northwest Michigan APEX Accelerator offers no-cost marketing, technical consulting, and training to businesses in Northwest Lower Michigan and the Upper Peninsula who wish to pursue government contracts. The mission of the Northwest Michigan APEX Accelerator is to help support and stimulate economic development in northwest Michigan by assisting businesses with finding, pursuing, obtaining, and performing on contracts with local, state, and federal branches of government.

Northwest Michigan Works! is a registered USDOL apprenticeship intermediary and sponsor. Northwest Michigan Works! helps employers develop, implement, and manage registered apprenticeships specific to their industry. Registered Apprenticeship is a proven training method for businesses to build a talent pipeline of highly skilled, educated workers.
