Local PTAC Director Elected as Head of Statewide Organization

TRAVERSE CITY, MI –The Regional Director of the Northwest Michigan Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) has been elected as the president of the PTACs of Michigan, Inc. Cathy Fairbanks became president of the organization October 1 after serving several years as its vice president. The PTACs of Michigan, Inc. is a not for profit organization primarily focused on professional development, but also functions as a single point of contact for the State's resource partners and stakeholders to communicate and collaborate with Michigan's 10 regional PTAC Centers. 

Fairbanks has been with the Northwest Michigan PTAC for over nine years, the past five years as regional director. The Northwest Michigan PTAC covers the entire Upper Peninsula and the 10 counties of the northwest Lower Peninsula. The PTAC program offers no-cost technical consulting and training to businesses who wish to sell their products/services to government agencies. The Northwest Michigan PTAC is a program of Networks Northwest.
