Northwest Michigan Works! Helps DreamLab Industries Find Workers to Make Face Masks

DreamLab Industries in Traverse City is a 3D manufacturer that offers customers 3D printing, design services, advanced prototyping, small batch manufacturing, and assembly. When the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in early 2020, DreamLab CEO, Brandon Williams, saw a need for antimicrobial face masks for healthcare workers, emergency workers and the general public. He knew his company could make them, but to do that he needed more workers. He turned to the Northwest Michigan Works! Business Services team and they helped him find a new virtual assistant/customer service person to add to his staff.

“Working with Northwest Michigan Works! has made my life as a small business owner much easier as they take the leg work out of the search process which can be very cumbersome and time-consuming,” said Williams.

As he continues to grow his business, Williams says he will keep working with Northwest Michigan Works!

“As we embark on the next phase of DreamLab Industries we will be once again working hand-in-hand with Northwest Michigan Works! to find more talent to fill more key positions. We have had tremendous success in the past working with Northwest Michigan Works! and will continue to use their services for many years to come.”

Our Township greatly benefits from Network Northwest's experience, depth of knowledge and understanding. Because they work with so many diverse communities in our ten-county region they understand the local land-use issues and are already working on solutions by the time we realize we need some help.
