Apprenticeship Specialist- Traverse City

Northwest Michigan Works! is seeking a full-time Apprenticeship Specialist to join its regional workforce development team serving Northwest Michigan. This role coordinates and manages Registered Apprenticeship Programs while working directly with employers, educational partners, and apprentices to develop customized training programs in high-demand industries and occupations. Responsibilities include supporting apprentice success through case management and barrier removal services, collaborating with training providers and community partners, conducting outreach and presentations, maintaining program documentation, and assisting with grant-related activities. Based in Northwest Michigan with regional travel required, this position offers the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively as part of an innovative and dynamic team focused on workforce development and economic growth. The position offers a salary of $45,000 annually and includes a comprehensive benefits package featuring employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, an employer-paid deferred compensation retirement plan, and generous paid time off and holidays.
