APEX Accelerator Procurement Counselor- Upper Penninsula

Networks Northwest is seeking a full-time APEX Accelerator Procurement Counselor to join its regional APEX Accelerator team serving the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This role provides direct counseling and training to businesses across the region to help them identify, compete for, and successfully perform local, state, and federal government contracting opportunities. With a strong focus on government procurement, this position supports business development through market research, guidance on contracting regulations and compliance, assistance with registrations and certifications, and training delivered in partnership with government agencies, prime contractors, and regional stakeholders. The role also includes maintaining accurate client records, supporting outreach and communications efforts, and collaborating with community and economic development partners to strengthen regional business growth and economic vitality. Based in the Marquette area with some travel required within and outside of Michigan, this position offers the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, experienced regional team. The position offers a salary of $52,000, commensurate with experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package featuring employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, an employer-paid deferred compensation retirement plan, and generous paid time off and holidays.
