Open House at New Career Café at Michigan Works! in Cadillac

 

CADILLAC, MI –The new Career Café inside the Northwest Michigan Works! Center in Cadillac will be showcased at an open house June 30 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Career Café is a new way of delivering job seeker services at Northwest Michigan Works!. Customers can select from a menu of services that will help them improve their résumé and cover letter, practice their interviewing skills, research career options, learn about education and training programs, and more. The Cadillac Michigan Works! Center is located at 401 Lake Street.

The open house will include an award presentation at 12:00 p.m. to Michigan Works customer Elizabeth Gray, a PATH program participant who is now working full-time in a permanent position that allows her to support her family. State Senator Darwin Booher and Representative Phil Potvin will be on hand to present the award.

 

Along with tours of the new Career Café the open house will also include a free picnic lunch. More information about the Career Café is available at: careercafe.org.
