NORTHWEST LOWER, MI – Northwest Michigan Works! has released an updated Hot Jobs Report, a regional workforce resource that highlights occupations with strong demand across Northwest Lower Michigan. The report identifies careers with high numbers of annual openings and provides information on wages and education and training pathways, helping jobseekers, educators, and employers better understand opportunities in the regional labor market.

The updated report is based on current labor market information and regional workforce insights. By identifying occupations with the highest annual openings and competitive wages, the report helps guide career exploration, workforce planning and investments, and conversations between employers, educators, and workforce partners.

“Accurate and accessible labor market information is essential for helping people make informed career decisions,” said Jessica Willis, Northwest Michigan Works! Director. “The Hot Jobs Report highlights occupations where opportunities are exceptionally strong in our region and helps connect jobseekers and students to career pathways that support both individual success and regional economic growth.”
The updated Hot Jobs Report is available online through the Northwest Michigan Works! website.

Northwest Michigan Works! is also sharing the report through community outreach, printed materials, and digital efforts, including short social media videos highlighting select in-demand occupations and encouraging individuals to explore the full report.
