Mayfield Township Master Plan Community Open House November 8

MAYFIELD, MI – The Mayfield Township Planning Commission, in partnership with Networks Northwest, will host a community open house on Wednesday, November 8 to gather input for the Township's upcoming Master Plan update. The open house will run from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Township Hall, 3010 W. Center Rd., Kingsley. Community residents and business owners are invited to provide thoughts on the Township's future, especially regarding housing, farmland preservation, and the M-37 corridor. Participants can stop in anytime during the event to provide input. Food and light beverages will be provided.

The Networks Northwest team did a great job to help the City of Charlevoix and Charlevoix Township collaborate in addressing housing challenges in our community. They facilitated dialogue with Planning Commissioners, community stakeholders, and municipal officials to develop a plan for cohesive zoning in areas of growth for our two governments. Further, they were able to pinpoint the challenges in each unit and propose changes that would be beneficial all around. Together, we believe we'll be better prepared for housing developments and job growth in our region. We look forward to working with them on future projects!
