Clean Slate Expungement Fair February 19 in Petoskey

PETOSKEY, MI— Recent laws make it easier to have certain felonies and misdemeanors set aside, which could clear your public criminal record. Northwest Michigan Works! is partnering with Michigan Indian Legal Services and Safe & Just Michigan in hosting a Clean Slate Expungement Fair to help people navigate the expungement process. Attorneys will be present to provide free expungement assistance. The Expungement Fair will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Odawa Hotel in Petoskey, 1444 U-S 131.
Register for the Expungement Fair at nwm.org/ExpungementFair. Expungement Fairs will also be held later this year in Cadillac, and Traverse City.

The Networks Northwest team did a great job to help the City of Charlevoix and Charlevoix Township collaborate in addressing housing challenges in our community. They facilitated dialogue with Planning Commissioners, community stakeholders, and municipal officials to develop a plan for cohesive zoning in areas of growth for our two governments. Further, they were able to pinpoint the challenges in each unit and propose changes that would be beneficial all around. Together, we believe we'll be better prepared for housing developments and job growth in our region. We look forward to working with them on future projects!
