Cherry Capital Airport Job Fair March 6

TRAVERSE CITY, MI — Job seekers can learn about a variety of job opportunities at Cherry Capital Airport at a Job Fair March 6 at the airport. The event will run from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and job seekers will be able to talk to hiring managers for nearly all employers connected to the airport or airport services. Cherry Capital Airport is hosting the Job Fair in partnership with Northwest Michigan Works! and Michigan Rehabilitation Services.
Current open positions at the Job Fair will include: Airport Operations Supervisor, Airport Maintainer, Ramp Agents, Customer Service Agents, Aviation Survival Technician (Rescue Swimmers), Janitorial, Crew Lead, Aviation Maintenance, Avionics Electrical Technician, and Airline Operations Agents.
There is no charge to attend the event and free parking will be available. Job seekers can register in advance at nwm.org/CCAJobs. Cherry Capital Airport is located at 727 Fly Don’t Dr. in Traverse City.
The Networks Northwest team did a great job to help the City of Charlevoix and Charlevoix Township collaborate in addressing housing challenges in our community. They facilitated dialogue with Planning Commissioners, community stakeholders, and municipal officials to develop a plan for cohesive zoning in areas of growth for our two governments. Further, they were able to pinpoint the challenges in each unit and propose changes that would be beneficial all around. Together, we believe we'll be better prepared for housing developments and job growth in our region. We look forward to working with them on future projects!
