Adult Career Training (ACT) Available in Cadillac

ACT is a FREE, 18-week adult education and training program developed to meet the need for skilled workers in today’s workplace environment.  Northwest Michigan ACT offers a direct path to job skills, a high school diploma or GED, and an entry-level position within the local manufacturing, health care, or hospitality industries.  Students will not only receive hands-on training on the most current high-tech equipment, but will also develop employability skills like communication, professionalism, and dependability.  Those who successfully complete the program will meet face-to-face with employers who are eager to hire!

A collaboration between local employers, Adult Education programs, the Wexford-Missaukee Career Technical Center and Northwest Michigan Works!

Who Is Eligible?


Adult Education students who want to earn the GED or HS Diploma and learn job skills.

When and Where?


Sessions begin on January 22, 2018.  These 18-week programs meet Mondays and Thursdays from 3:30-6:30 pm at the Wexford-Missaukee Career Tech Center
