TIPS Training for Job Seekers and Hospitality Employees Offered February 24th in Traverse City
TIPS Training certification helps you be more valuable in the workplace. TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) is a dynamic, skills-based training program designed to prevent intoxication, drunk driving and underage drinking by enhancing the fundamental “people skills” of servers, sellers and consumers of alcohol. TIPS gives individuals the knowledge and confidence they need to recognize potential alcohol-related problems and intervene to prevent alcohol-related tragedies.
The training, testing, and certification are facilitated at the Traverse City Michigan Works! Service Center, 1209 S. Garfield Avenue, in this one-day session. $20 covers the cost of the book (no charge for PATH participants). A free pizza lunch will be provided.
