The Transformative Power of Networks - A Community Event on May 18

Rotary Charities, NorthSky Nonprofit Network, and Networks Northwest are pleased to announce that national network expert June Holley will be helping our region learn how to nurture healthy networks that contribute to stronger, more resilient communities.

June, author of Network Weaver Handbook, will be kicking off this ongoing work in Traverse City on May 18th with an inter-active community event. Anyone wishing to learn more about networks is welcome to attend! Her work has been featured in publications including the Wall Street Journal, Entrepreneur, and InBusiness. She has worked with the United Nations, Annie E. Casey Foundation, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Plexus Institute for Complexity, the Monitor Institute, and many others to understand how to create healthier networks through a better understanding of self-organization, collaboration, innovation, and learning.

Our Township greatly benefits from Network Northwest's experience, depth of knowledge and understanding. Because they work with so many diverse communities in our ten-county region they understand the local land-use issues and are already working on solutions by the time we realize we need some help.
