Michigan Works! IT Career Fair Connects Employers and Qualified Job Candidates
Eighteen local employers actively recruited qualified candidates for open IT positions at the Northwest Michigan Works! Information Technology Career Fair which was held on April 22 in Traverse City. The event gave local employers and job seekers the opportunity to interact, interview, and trade information. Representatives from Northwestern Michigan College, Ferris State University, and the Traverse Bay Area ISD Career Tech Center were available to answer questions about education and training opportunities for anyone interested in IT careers.
"This is the third year for the IT Career Fair and it has become a popular event for employers to scope for top talent and for IT professionals to land their next big opportunity," said Jaclyn Sanborn, Northwest Michigan Council of Governments Business Connections Manager.
