Job Posting: MI-SBTDC Regional Director
MI-SBTDC Regional Director, responsible for leadership, oversight, planning, resource development and management of the Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center (SBTDC) in a ten-county region of Northwest Michigan. The program provides assistance in a variety of forms to entrepreneurs and businesses. The program’s administrative agency for the ten-county region is the Northwest Michigan Council of Governments (NWMCOG). Position reports to NWMCOG Chief Executive Officer, functions within a larger economic development team, and is responsible for maintaining a network of partnership agreements with other organizations that help carry out the program’s goals. MBA or related degree/experience preferred. At least three years of experience in business consulting, management, and/or ownership required. Excellent oral and written communication skills, quality control, administration, computer proficiency, and budget management all required. Full time position with full fringe benefit package.
