Elementary School Students Participate in Career Innovation Day

Over 200 K-5 students at Traverse Heights Elementary School in Traverse City participated in a Career Innovation Day. The event included a variety of vehicles connected to different careers and presentations by businesses and other community partners who helped the students learn about a variety of job skills. The event was organized by Northwest Michigan Works! and the MiSTEM Network. Watch the video to find out more.

Our Township greatly benefits from Network Northwest's experience, depth of knowledge and understanding. Because they work with so many diverse communities in our ten-county region they understand the local land-use issues and are already working on solutions by the time we realize we need some help.
