Draft Kalkaska County Recreation Plan Available for Review
The five-year Recreation Plan for Kalkaska County is available for public review beginning on March 13. Copies of the draft plan will be available at the Kalkaska Soil and Water Conservation District Office, Kalkaska County Library, and Kalkaska County Administration building and online at: nwm.org. Please direct all comments and questions regarding the plan to Julie Naasko, Kalkaska County Board of Commissioners secretary, at 605 N. Birch St, Kalkaska, MI 49646 or 231-258-3336 by May 15. At the end of the review period, comments will be considered by the Kalkaska County Board for incorporation into the Plan.
Public comments will also be taken at the May 15 Kalkaska County Board of Commissioners Public Hearing to be held at the Kalkaska County Administration Building, 605 N Birch Street, Kalkaska, at 5:30 p.m.
