Interested citizens gathered to discuss ways and provide solutions to improve infrastructure in northwest Michigan to make our communities better places to live. Attendees participated in breakout sessions and panel discussions. Topics included: transportation, housing, energy, education, employment, and healthy food. Donna Beegle, national poverty expert, brought perspective to the ways in which infrastructure impacts people in poverty.
Our Township greatly benefits from Network Northwest's experience, depth of knowledge and understanding. Because they work with so many diverse communities in our ten-county region they understand the local land-use issues and are already working on solutions by the time we realize we need some help.Susan Odom, Chair, Suttons Bay Township Planning Commission
