Adult Career Training Students Celebrate Completion and Attend Employer Showcase

19 students were recognized at a special Completion Ceremony for the first ever Adult Career Training (ACT) program in northern Michigan. The 18-week program was offered through collaboration between local employers, the Wexford-Missaukee Career Technical Center, and Northwest Michigan Works! The ACT program gave students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma or GED and learn job skills in manufacturing, health care, or hospitality pathways. Following the Completion Ceremony, the students participated in an Employer Showcase where they talked with employers about local job opportunities. Watch the video to find out more.
