2035 MI Transportation Plan – Public Input Process
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is revising the state’s long range transportation plan. Revising a plan that has such significant impact requires a careful and deliberate strategy. MDOT’s strategy involves multiple opportunities for citizens to comment on the plan before it is finalized. These opportunities are outlined in MDOT’s Public Involvement Plan.
To review the Public Involvement Plan, go to www.michigan.gov/slrp. The public is encouraged to comment before April 30, 2012. Submit comments to Bob Parsons, MDOT’s Public Involvement and Hearings Officer, by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or telephone (517-313-9534).
Our Township greatly benefits from Network Northwest's experience, depth of knowledge and understanding. Because they work with so many diverse communities in our ten-county region they understand the local land-use issues and are already working on solutions by the time we realize we need some help.Susan Odom, Chair, Suttons Bay Township Planning Commission
