Let’s go FAR – Basics of the Federal Acquisition Regulations – Traverse City

The FAR, Federal Acquisition Regulation, is a complex set of rules that regulate the federal government’s purchasing and contracting processes. The purpose of the FAR is to ensure that government purchases are handled in a standard, transparent, fair and impartial manner. It is important for businesses selling to the government to understand these rules and regulations to avoid costly pitfalls. This seminar will provide an overview of the FAR and the basic concepts that every federal contractor should know.
