Going PRO Campaign Promotes Skilled Trade Careers in Michigan

Going PRO, a public-private partnership headed by the Talent and Economic Development Department of Michigan, is an education and awareness campaign to promote professional trade careers to help employers fill an estimated 545,000 skilled-labor jobs coming open in Michigan through 2026. A special Going PRO kickoff event at Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City included state legislators and leaders in business, education, and workforce development. They all spoke about the importance of the Going PRO campaign and the need to help employers meet the demand for skilled labor. Watch the video to find out more. Additional information is also available at Going-Pro.com.

Our Township greatly benefits from Network Northwest's experience, depth of knowledge and understanding. Because they work with so many diverse communities in our ten-county region they understand the local land-use issues and are already working on solutions by the time we realize we need some help.
