New Location for Northwest Michigan Works! In Manistee
MANISTEE, MI – The Northwest Michigan Works! American Job Center and Adult Education Learning Lab are moving to a new location in Manistee. Effective January 28, the Center and Learning Lab will be located in the Briny Building, 50 Filer St., Suite F in Manistee.
The Northwest Michigan Works! American Job Center will continue to offer a variety of free services to job seekers including assistance with résumés, interviewing, and using online job search tools. The Learning Lab will continue to work with adults to help them meet their educational, employment, and digital literacy goals. Learning Lab services include high school diploma completion and GED® prep; skill remediation in the areas of reading, math, and writing; basic computer skills instruction; and English as a second language instruction.
The Manistee Michigan Works! American Job Center is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information about the new Michigan Works! location in Manistee, call 231.723.2535 or visit their Facebook page at facebook.com/careercafemanistee.
