Visual Preference Surveys
Visual preference surveys were conducted over the course of 2013 and 2014 for Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee, and Wexford counties. Results from the survey are being used to develop the land use elements and activities of the Framework for Our Future. Information included in the reports identifies preferred development and design elements for commercial corridors. A ten-county report summarizing the 2013 and 2014 Visual Preference Survey results is available below. Reports for individual counties are available upon request.
