Mentors: Mentoring is a rewarding, challenging, and life changing experience. Anyone who has stability and commitment can be a mentor. We all have gifts and abilities that we can share with others. If you find yourself wanting to serve your community and help out someone in need through the power of relationship, then we would like to talk with you. We provide all of our volunteers with the training and ongoing support needed to be successful.

Committees: We have three committees that are in need of a diverse and creative group of people to held lead and shape the organization.
1. Family Selection and Support Committee: This committee is responsible for all things related to the families we serve, including the application process, family selection interviews, family approvals, and ongoing support. (Note: We use the term family to include every style of family from a single individual to a married couple with children. Families come in all shapes and sizes.)
2. Mentor Training and Support Committee: This committee is responsible for all things related to our volunteer mentors, including the application process, mentor selection, mentor and family matching, mentor training, and ongoing support.
3. Finance and Development Committee: This committee is responsible for the development, oversight, and management of organization funds. These folks develop and keep an eye on our budget and create strategic plans for fundraising and promotional efforts.
Grant Writer: We are always on the look out for a volunteer that is knowledgeable and skilled at writing grants.
Fundraiser: Do you have experience and passion for fundraising? Give us a call.
Our volunteer schedules are very flexible, so let’s talk.
Our Township greatly benefits from Network Northwest's experience, depth of knowledge and understanding. Because they work with so many diverse communities in our ten-county region they understand the local land-use issues and are already working on solutions by the time we realize we need some help.Susan Odom, Chair, Suttons Bay Township Planning Commission
