Wexford County Recreation Plan
Wexford County is updating its 5-Year Recreation Plan. The drafted Recreation Plan update reviews existing recreation facilities in the County, discusses community-identified recreation needs, and makes recommendations for future recreation improvements and activities. The plan has been developed to meet Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) guidelines for recreation plans, which are required in order to be eligible for recreation grants through the MDNR.
Please submit comments by December 4, 2018 regarding the proposed Recreation Plan to Elizabeth Calcutt, Community Planner at Networks Northwest, via the email below. A public hearing for the plan will take place at the regular meeting of the Wexford County Board of Commissioners on December 5, 2018.
