Trent Carpenter, CISSP
Sparrow Health System; formerly w/ State of Michigan

Trent has more than 20 years of experience in Information Security and is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Sparrow Health Systems. Formerly, he was the CISO for the State of Michigan and oversaw the State’s Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC). Trent is currently on the Board of Directors for Michigan InfraGard (a partnership between the FBI and private sector to protect critical infrastructure) and is a member of the Michigan Healthcare Cybersecurity Council (MiHCC). He was recently appointed by InfraGard to be Michigan’s Healthcare Sector Chief to coordinate efforts between the FBI and Michigan’s Healthcare industry.
