MiCareerQuest Northwest Going Virtual in 2021, Kick-Off Meeting Set for January 27

TRAVERSE CITY, MI— Northwest Lower Michigan’s largest career exploration event for students is going virtual in 2021. MiCareerQuest™ Northwest will be held online May 12, 2021. Anyone interested in learning more about MiCareerQuest™ Northwest can attend a Kick-Off meeting on Wednesday, January 27 from 3:00 - 4:30 pm via ZOOM. Those attending will be able to interact with the platform to be used at the live event and see demonstrations of what virtual exhibits will look like.
MiCareerQuest™ Northwest is a career and college readiness event for 9th and 10th-grade students. Local employers from Agriculture, Construction, Healthcare, Hospitality, IT, Manufacturing, and more will come together to create a unique interactive virtual career exploration experience. Students will find out what it’s really like to be a nurse, machinist, computer programmer, chef, veterinarian, and more, directly from the people who do these jobs every day.
