How to Buy or Sell a Business Workshop May 26 in Traverse City
TRAVERSE CITY, MI –The challenges and opportunities presented when buying or selling a business will be covered at a How to Buy or Sell a Business workshop May 26 in Traverse City. The workshop is being offered by the Northwest Michigan Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and is being sponsored by Huntington Bank and Rehmann. It will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Hagerty Center, 715 East Front Street.
The workshop will include separate sessions for buyers and sellers followed by a session where buyers and sellers participate with a panel of experienced professionals. The experts leading the sessions and participating on the panel will include representatives from Huntington Bank, Rehmann, Smith Haughey Rice & Reogge, Intentional Wealth Advisors, and Rua Associates.
Business owners and others looking for information about buying or selling a business are encouraged to attend the workshop, which will also include valuable information for accountants, attorneys, business brokers, financial planners, CEOs, and CFOs.
The cost of the workshop is $25, which includes morning refreshments. Pre-registration is required by contacting the SBDC at firstname.lastname@example.org or 231-922-3780. Veterans registration is free with proof of military service.
