Networks Northwest provides services and resources to communities in the ten-county region of northwest lower Michigan in order to enable and enhance the ability of local decision-makers, stakeholders, and the public to evaluate and make the best possible choices to protect, enhance, and promote a high quality of life in the region.

Community Growth Grants Available in Northwest Michigan The 2017-2018 Regional Prosperity Initiative Community Growth Grants Program will focus on Community Dialogue initiatives. The grant program is intended to strengthen our region’s capacity to develop and implement economic strategies by building connections between governments and other stakeholders; raising awareness of community needs and preferences; and providing opportunities for community input.
Networks Northwest Cyber Security Summit September 21 Cyber attacks are evolving at a pace that outstrips the development of many defensive measures, and small business owners need to be aware of how to protect their business and employees from becoming easy cyber targets. Networks Northwest’s Cyber Security Summit will address areas of concern and action for small business owners.
Northern Michigan Trail Promotion Project Wins Governor’s Award A project designed to promote trails in northern Michigan has received the Governor’s Award for Innovative Tourism Collaboration. The Up North Trails Collaborative won in the category of Non-Traditional Partnerships for its upnorthtrails.org website and trail promotion efforts connected to the website.
