Individuals considering self-employment or in the beginning stages of starting a business will have access to a wide variety of helpful information at a business start up workshop being offered by the Michigan Small Business and Technology Development Center (MI-SBTDC) in Traverse City.

May 23 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Parsons-Stulen building on NMC’s Aero Park Campus
This course is designed for individuals who are considering self-employment, or who may be at the beginning stages of starting a business. The workshop will help aspiring entrepreneurs assess their abilities to lead and manage a company, as well as evaluate market and sales potential for their products/services. Start-up costs, financing options, and business planning will be introduced, along with necessary steps to getting started.
The workshop is free to attend but pre-registration is required. This workshop will be held 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm at the NMC Parsons Stulen Building, Courtyard Conference Room, on Aeropark Drive.
