Due to Popular Demand, SBDC to Present another "Starting a Business Workshop" in Traverse City - August 11
Individuals considering self-employment or in the beginning stages of starting a business will have another opportunity to access to a wide variety of helpful information at a Starting a Business workshop being offered in Traverse City by the Northwest Michigan Small Business Development Center (SBDC). This workshop is being held just two weeks after a similar workshop.
"Our workshop on July 29th was popping at the seams and more people wanted in," stated Tricia Stevens, Intake Specialist for SBDC in Traverse City. "So, Walt Muellenhagen, one of our small business consults, arranged to provide a second offering on August 11th."
About the Workshop:
This workshop, "Starting a Business" is designed for individuals who are considering self-employment, or who may be at the beginning stages of starting a business. Delivered in a workshop format, this introductory session helps aspiring entrepreneurs assess their abilities to lead and manage a company, as well as evaluate market and sales potential for their products/services. Start-up costs, financing options, and business planning are introduced, along with necessary steps to getting started. This workshop is required before scheduling for individual counseling on starting a business.
