Talent Tour - Manistee County Students Learn About Careers in Welding and Fabrication

Students from two Manistee County schools participated in a Talent Tour that gave them the opportunity to learn about careers in welding and fabrication. The students were from Brethren and Bear Lake high schools and also attend the Wexford-Missaukee Career Tech Center. They visited Armor Signs in Manistee, Metalline in Eastlake, and Silverline in Wellston. Northwest Michigan Works! Youth Advisor Cheryl Wolfram said the students were especially fascinated by the welded sculptures at Silverline.
