Supportive Workplace Award Presented by Traverse Bay PRI

The Supportive Workplace Award was established by the Traverse Bay Poverty Reduction Initiative to recognize the positive affects of best practices in work environments. Supportive workplaces create win/win situations by helping employees overcome challenges to be successful on the job. Employers which provide resources and assistance often can address and alleviate problems before they affect productivity. Three local businesses earned recognition in 2015 by the Traverse Bay Poverty Reduction Initiative as a supportive workplace: Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa; Incredible Mo's; and Plascon Group.
